Last week managers from banking sector (India ) gave following statics .

Cost spend by Bank per transaction.

1. In Branch - 70 rs (Aprox..)
2. ATM - 40 rs (Approx..)
3. Internet - 8-9 rs(Approx..)
4. Mobile - 1-2 rs (Approx..)

I like their strategy of not cutting down transaction cost , instead increase no. of transactions to make profit.
